I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea...

I've decided to sign up for NaBloPoMo again (see my cool badge on the left). Why?

1) because I think I wrote some pretty good posts back in November and my creative juices are running a bit dry lately.
2) because February is the shortest month in which to do this self-inflicted torture

And, because February sort of sucks (winter dragging on, St. Valentines Day, lollipops (?)). In honor of the month of love, I started a group called "Suck It!" and made this little phrase my theme for the month... should be interesting.

So, I'll invite you all to "Suck It!" ... just pop on over to NaBloPoMo and sign up.

  1. That sucks!

Awww.. Come on. You knew somebody would go there.

  2. Don't know if this helps or the opposite -- but I've tagged you over at the Chronicles. Maybe you could do your ten facts as individual posts.

BTW -- my first husband was second-generation Italian immigrant and your post on Italian men below made me grin.

  3. Beth- THAT'S the spirit!
Jeanne - that does help (actually there is no problem, but you're tag makes me extra happy)... maybe I will elaborate on the Italian men post.

I really enjoy reading your posts and would love to read one everyday in the month of Feb.

    Go for it!

  5. I love it when Tina Fey tells anyone to "suck it" on 30 Rock. I think I'll like it when you do, too! :)

I think my husband will leave me if I sign up for NaBloPoMo again!!! But I would love to do it. I will try and keep up with you. :)

February is the shortest month... that is the best reason for me!

  7. One added advantage to having this theme is that if you miss a day, you can just say "suck it" to NaBloPoMo

The funniest reference I came across to NaBloPoMo (sorry I don't remember where in the blogsphere) was "NaaBloMe"... hahaha... still makes me chuckle.

  8. LOL !!

I am inspired to write on this theme !! Will do !

  9. So Kavi and Neil are with me? Sweet! I have some high standards to keep up with.

...and you may ask yourself, did I get here?
