clouds in the sky
music played loudly
not so many "Os"
I love walking
and feeling at home
time with the kids
and time alone
Lately I've been sucked into Mcrosoft's Movie Maker. A fun addictive suck-ass program. It's fun, addictive, and then freezes up every 10-15 minutes, suck-ass program. It has been driving me insane, but I was having so much fun making my little Twilight music video. I found myself waiting for the bus, imagining different songs on my ipod set to different scenes in the movie. Or other movies (better ones). Is deciding on the soundtrack for movies an actual job I could apply for? That would be a kick-ass job. I'll have to look into that.
I taught my Punkone "Fur Elise" on the piano. He just started taking lessons this year, but it turned out to be a great finger exercise tune for him to learn. And pleasant to listen to as well... so excuse me if I'm still humming "da da da da da da da da da...." (typing doesn't really do it justice).

What am I missing with this Twilight business? Everybody is talking about it...I just had no interest...now I think I must watch it.ReplyDelete
Is it appropriate for an 11 and 7 year old?
As far as suck-ass programs go, I've got quite a few on my resume as well...Movie Maker is just gonna have to get in line! :)
Ooooh, Movie Maker really is a time suck, isn't it? But addicting, too... ;) Happy RTT! :)ReplyDelete
I'm a bit ashamed that I got sucked into Twilight. I found it a good beach read last summer and even read my kids (ages 5 and 8) the main events of the story during bedtime reading. They got really into it (I skipped anything that was slightly steamy or violent). They also both like the movie (but they already knew the story before hand) and I skip the ballet studio fight scene (which isn't even that bad, but my kids are sensitive to violence). Everything else is pretty tame.ReplyDelete
That said, I think if I hadn't read the books, I wouldn't have enjoyed the movie. The book gives all the characters such depth and I think it's missing in the movie... however, I like Bella in the movie better than her character in the book.
BLAH... too much Twilight.
Don't get into Movie Maker... good gracious, I lost so many sleep hours to that thing.
I feel like I shouldn't have this big a crush on that guy.ReplyDelete
twilight...my current obsession. i finished the entire series in a week. no wonder i'm so tired!ReplyDelete
I just can't get into Twilight. I've read all the books twice (once before the movie came out, and once after I saw the movie).ReplyDelete
I just don't GET it.
Hehheh, I'm pretty sure I wrote something about my non-obsession with Twilight a while ago. I don't really get it, either. Also, I just want to pluck that guys eyebrows.ReplyDelete
Happy Tuesday! Now I have Fur Elise in my head! :)
Twilight is one of the movies that will be playing on my flight over on Friday. Maybe the movie will hold my interest better than the book did.ReplyDelete
Fur Elise-the sole reason I took piano lessons was to learn that song. It is the only one I ever learned.
I took my daughter to the dvd release party for "Twilight" at Borders. Last count, she's watched it seven times! And I'm going to watch it with her tonight. (First time for me). It must be good, because after watching it, my son started reading the second book. (He read the first long ago)ReplyDelete
